Sally Chen is a queer, nonbinary, 2nd-generation Chinese American illustrator and poet born & based in NYC. Their work explores the quiet intimacies that occur in daily life. They utilize free-flowing lines, vibrant colors, glowing silhouettes, bits of verse, and portraiture to capture the many fleeting moments of joy and sorrow that keep us yearning for another day, and consequently, a brighter future.

UFW continues its activism in major agricultural sectors, chiefly in California, but has been organizing workers in New York State since the 2019 passage of New York’s Farm Laborer Fair Labor Practices Act.
